Honestly cannot believe it has been 40 years since he went to his high school prom with her back in 1986! He recently ran into her and they took this picture together to capture the moment. They were just teenagers. Time really does fly, but it is great to know that the best memories always stay with you.

I found this really nice picture of me taken at home in Wildwood, Missouri, back in 2022. I was wearing a simple, comfortable black top, and I decided to leave my blonde hair down in soft waves that day. The natural light coming into our living room was so bright and inviting, making it the absolute perfect spot to capture a relaxed portrait. Our home always has such a peaceful and comfortable vibe, especially in the afternoons when the house is quiet. It is always so much fun to look back at these happy, simple moments from just a couple of years ago.

Here is a really nice picture of me from back in 2022 when we were spending some time at our place in Wildwood. I am smiling with my long blonde hair down, and I have my arm around him, wearing my favorite comfortable black shirt. I think this indoor shot has such great natural light and really shows how happy and relaxed we both were that day. Looking at this memory from just a few years ago brings back such warm and peaceful feelings of a lovely afternoon at home.

Here is a portrait of me taken at our home in Wildwood back in 2022. I decided to wear a detailed black lace top for the day and let my blonde hair down in loose waves. I remember feeling really confident in this look, and this snapshot perfectly captures that peaceful and happy moment. Wildwood is always so beautiful and relaxing, and looking back at this memory makes me feel very calm. It was just a great snapshot capturing exactly how I felt that year, and I love how my blue eyes stand out against the soft indoor lighting.

Here is a really great portrait I took while we were just hanging out at our home in Wildwood. I caught him right as he was walking through the hallway, and the warm lighting coming off the wooden doors in the background looked absolutely perfect for a picture. He is wearing a comfortable black shirt and his silver chain, giving the camera that classic, serious look he always does. I really love snapping these quiet, everyday moments when we are just relaxing around the house together. It is always the unplanned, natural pictures like this one that end up being some of my absolute favorites to look back on.

Here is another beautiful portrait of me taken at home in Wildwood, Missouri, back in 2022. I was wearing my favorite detailed black lace top, and I decided to leave my blonde hair down in soft waves for the day. I really love how the warm lighting inside the house perfectly highlighted my eye makeup and gave the whole picture a slightly moody, serious vibe. I had such a great time taking these photos indoors, and it is always so much fun to look back at these quiet, relaxing moments from that year. Whenever I want to remember what a peaceful afternoon at home feels like, this is exactly the kind of picture I love to look at the most.

Here is a fun solo portrait of me from our place in Wildwood back in 2022. I decided to dress up a little bit that day, wearing a really sharp black blazer over a delicate black lace top. My hair was down in soft waves, and I gave the camera a pretty serious, confident look for this shot. I really love how the natural lighting in the room highlighted my eyes and contrasted perfectly with my dark outfit and the warm wooden walls behind me. It is always great to look back at these moments when I took a little extra time to put together a nice style for a picture.

Here is another beautiful solo portrait of me from when I was relaxing at home in Wildwood, Missouri back in 2022. I was wearing my favorite comfortable tan knit top and just letting my wavy hair air dry for the day. The natural lighting inside the house was so soft and perfect, making it a really great time to take a simple, honest picture. I love how calm and peaceful everything feels in this shot, and I think my blue eyes really stand out against the soft background. Looking back at these quiet moments always reminds me of how nice it is to just slow down and enjoy a relaxing day at home.

Here is another picture of me from our home in Wildwood back in 2022. I decided to dress up a little bit more that day, wearing a sharp black blazer over a really pretty black lace top. My hair was down in long waves, and I was giving the camera a pretty serious, focused look for this shot. We had some great natural light coming in right through the wooden window frames behind me. It is always fun to look back at these moments when I took the extra time to put together a nice outfit just to capture a cool portrait.

Here is one last shot to wrap up our reimagined Wildwood series. Dawne and I went with matching black shirts for this one, and even though it is a really simple look, sometimes simple is just better. I absolutely love how these artistic photos turned out, because they take a regular day of us hanging out at home and make it feel like a professional studio photoshoot.

We made sure to save these two great photos for the very end of our Wildwood series! First, we decided to match up with a sleek, simple black on black look that felt a little bit dressier. Then, for the final shot, we went right back to the style that started it all with my denim jacket and her turtleneck. It has been so awesome seeing these everyday moments of us at home reimagined into such cool art.

We are officially closing out the reimagined album with these last two frames from Wildwood. We tried out two completely different looks that day, with a button-down shirt and a turtleneck, and looking at them side-by-side, I really cannot decide which one I like better! They both capture that exact same feeling of just being happy together at home, and this whole project was such a fun way to see ourselves in a brand new light.

We are finally wrapping up our reimagined series with two totally different vibes! First, we have one last intense shot from our denim and turtleneck set, but then we have a really great candid one taken in the library. I absolutely love the library photo because it feels so much more relaxed, showing us just laughing and hanging out at home. Whether we are posing for cool art or just being ourselves, I am so glad we have these special memories captured.

We kept the camera rolling right by the window because the natural light was just too good to pass up for these Wildwood photos! I really like the artistic, reimagined style of these pictures. It takes a completely regular photo of Dawne and me just hanging out at home and gives it such a cool, polished look. Dawne looks absolutely beautiful here, and these are definitely going to find a permanent spot on our wall.

We found a really great spot right by the window for this picture. This might actually be the most peaceful shot of the entire bunch, just capturing a quiet moment at home in Wildwood with the warm sun shining in. I love how this reimagined art style makes a simple second in time feel so incredibly special. Dawne looks amazing here, and I am just so happy to be sitting right there with her.

Here is one more picture from our reimagined series at home in Wildwood. I honestly think this one might be my absolute favorite of the bunch because it is just a simple, happy moment between Dawne and me. The denim jacket, the black turtleneck, and our big smiles all just work together so perfectly. It is really funny how a simple picture can freeze a wonderful feeling like that forever.

We are finally rounding out our reimagined art series from Wildwood! We tried a few different looks for these, with some being super casual and others a little more styled, but they all share that exact same comfortable feeling. It was all about just being at home, enjoying the moment together, and letting the camera do the rest of the work. These unique portraits are definitely keepers!

Here are a couple more of those reimagined portrait shots from our home in Wildwood. I really like how these turned out because there is something about the style, with my denim jacket and the black turtleneck, that feels very classic but still very much like us. It is really cool to see a completely regular photo transformed into something that looks a bit more like a nice piece of art.

It is a reimagined portrait taken at our place in Wildwood, Missouri, and I really love the warm, classic feel it has. It is such a nice change of pace from a regular snapshot, and it really captures a happy, peaceful moment for us at home.

Here is another funny picture from our kitchen in Wildwood, Missouri back in late June of 2018. Joey was holding his phone up to take a quick selfie of us, and I made the best surprised face when I looked at the screen. I was still wearing my bright pink hat and that hilarious dog t-shirt while we were just hanging out by the counter. Joey has his usual serious look going on in his blue shirt and glasses, which just makes my silly reaction look even funnier next to him. I love looking back at these random moments because they show how much fun we always had just being together at home.

Here is one last photo of me and Joey hanging out in our kitchen in Wildwood, Missouri, back in late June of 2018. We were just standing there looking at something on his phone together. I was still wearing my funny dog t-shirt and that pink hat with the heart on it, leaning in close with a really happy smile. Joey was wearing his blue shirt and glasses, looking pretty focused on whatever we were reading or watching on the screen. It is so nice to capture these little, everyday moments because they really show how much we just enjoy being around each other, even when we are not doing anything special.

Here is one more picture from our kitchen in Wildwood, Missouri, back in late June of 2018. Joey decided to pull out his phone and snap a quick mirror selfie of us while I was still holding my pillow. I had this funny, surprised look on my face, and I was still wearing that bright pink hat and my dog t-shirt. He was standing right behind me in his blue shirt and glasses, trying to keep a serious face for the camera. It is always a blast looking back at these random, silly moments we captured on a normal summer day at home.

I was still wearing my funny blue t-shirt and that bright pink hat with the heart on it. He stepped into the frame right behind me for a quick picture, wearing his glasses and a dark blue shirt. He looks pretty serious in this shot for some reason, but we were honestly just having a relaxing summer day at home together. It is always great to look back at these simple, everyday moments from our life.

It wasn’t all snow and winter coats for us in 2024! Joey and I got out for a nice walk around Wildwood when the weather finally warmed up. I wore a pretty floral dress, and I definitely rocked my big sun hat while we relaxed on the bench. It was just a really good, sunny day to be outside walking around town together.

We are finishing up our Wildwood winter series with these two photos. It was absolutely freezing out by the fence, but the trees looked incredible all covered in ice. I had the right idea, though, and found a cozy blanket to wrap up in while sitting on the porch swing by the cabin. It was just a really peaceful, quiet day to be outside with Joey and enjoy the winter views.

Here are some solo shots from that really snowy day in Wildwood back in 2024. Joey went for a serious look with his black scarf and peacoat by the gate, while I made sure to wear my Gucci scarf and sunglasses to complete my winter style. It was absolutely freezing outside, but you honestly cannot tell by looking at these photos. We definitely managed to make the cold winter weather look good!

We definitely needed our heavy coats for this winter day in Wildwood, Missouri back in 2024! Joey and I were braving the cold together, and the bright white snow made for such a great background for our pictures. I was totally bundled up in my warm fur coat and hat, and Joey had his trusty peacoat ready to go for our freezing outdoor adventure.

Here is a fun flashback to a back-to-school night, or maybe just a quick visit, in Wentzville back in 2020. I was wearing my favorite denim jacket and polka dots while Joey snapped this picture. It is so fun to look back at these simple, everyday moments where we were just walking the school halls, checking out the bulletin boards, and being a part of our local community.

Sometimes the absolute best plans are just staying inside at home. Joey and I were just hanging out at our house in Wentzville back in 2022, relaxing in the living room. The sun was shining through the windows just right, and even our sweet dog wanted to get in on the photo with us. It is always so nice to have these quiet, comfortable moments captured forever.

For Halloween 2022 in Wentzville, Joey and I decided to skip the crazy costumes and just go out for the evening. We went for a classy "black on black" look instead, with me wearing a pretty black lace top and Joey breaking out his nice black shirt. It definitely was not a spooky look, but it was a really sharp style for our fun night out together.

We definitely committed to the spooky bit for Halloween in Wildwood back in 2021! Joey and I went full ghost mode, complete with a tattered wedding dress, a crazy wig, and full face paint. Walking around our deck with all those fall mums really set the perfect creepy scene for the night. It is always so much fun to just go all out and be silly together like this.

Here is another fun look back at Halloween 2018 in Wentzville. This picture is a little more candid, showing me just making sure my costume was perfectly ready to go for the evening. I really like shots like this because they show the quiet, real moments right in between the big poses, just a second before our fun Halloween night really started.

We are taking it back a few years to Halloween in Wentzville, Missouri back in 2018. I was really getting into the spooky spirit, and Joey took this great shot of me. I love how my costume looks with that bright red hood, and you can even see the beautiful fall leaves turning colors right out the window behind me. It definitely captures that perfect October vibe in Missouri.

Here is a very playful trip down memory lane to October of 2019! This gallery captures me really getting into the fun Halloween spirit at our old place on Heather Ridge Manor in Wentzville. I dressed up in a bright yellow bird costume and struck a series of hilarious poses with a plastic skeleton prop on the front lawn, making for a perfectly lighthearted snapshot of autumn fun.
